Atami station is just 40 minutes from Tokyo station by bullet train. From Atami station, a 20 minute taxi ride will deliver you to Ikebana House, or you may wish to rent a car from the numerous outlets near Atami station to give you independence to explore the beautiful Izu Peninsula. A 10 minute walk through the forest from Ikebana House brings you to a 7 Eleven, and a 10 minute drive brings you to the local supermarket. Taga Beach to the north and Usami Beach to the south are each about a 15 minute drive from Ikebana House.
